Community Introduction / Patient Referrals
Broaden your patient base by tapping into SMCDS’ excellent patient referral services; i.e., referrals to members when patients call in to our local office or access our Find a Dentist feature on the SMCDS website. Take advantage of opportunities to introduce yourself to the community by speaking at functions sponsored in conjunction with SMCDS community outreach activities.
Peer Review
Resolve dentist / patient disputes concerning quality and/or appropriateness of care via the Peer Review process at no expense to either party, often avoiding costly litigation. The SMCDS Peer Review Committee is staffed by member dentists working in cooperation with and under guidelines set by CDA.
Social / Networking Events
Discuss and solve common issues with peers on neutral ground. Become acquainted with and cultivate lasting relationships with SMCDS colleagues at social events hosted throughout the year: Winter Ski Seminar, Summer Picnic & Games, SF Giants Game, Annual Gala & Silent Auction …and the ever-popular social hour at our monthly General Membership meetings.
