 KER BIO:Gary K. Roberts\, DDS hails from Hawaii. He is currently faculty w
 ith the Department of Surgery\, Division of Plastic Surgery\, Dental Medic
 ine &amp\; Surgery Service at Stanford University Medical Center and Lucil
 le Packard Children’s Hospital\, where he has performed hospital dentistry
  and surgery since 1995.  He is also on faculty at the UOP Dugoni School o
 f Dentistry. Dr. Roberts was awarded his DDS from UOP in 1988\, completed 
 his General Practice Residency at Navy Hospital Oakland in 1989\, and earn
 ed his Navy oral surgery subspecialty designator in 1992 while on active d
 uty as a Naval Officer.  During nearly a quarter of a century of military 
 service\, Dr. Roberts was one of the leading researchers on combat trauma 
 and the pathophysiology of projectile wounds. He has been an Anesthesia Ev
 aluator for the California State Dental Board and is the only individual t
 o have served three consecutive terms on the CDA Council for Peer Review. 
 He is a Police Academy graduate and has been a sworn Reserve Police Office
 r in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Roberts was a US Soccer Federation Re
 feree and now spends his leisure time enjoying Masters alpine ski racing. 
 He has also enjoyed hiking and backpacking\, sport rock climbing\, bicycle
  road racing and mountain biking\, tournament water skiing\, as well as SC
 UBA diving. His three children have all gone into healthcare.
