Structual Planning for "All On Implant Supported" Prostheses

7-9p

2 Core CE

Through this presentation, I would like to discuss a step by step schematic thinking and planning for "All On" Implant Supported Prostheses. I have been telling colleagues for years that these types of projects need to be treated like "Structural Engineering". With the advanced technology, we are able to determine the volume of bone, as well as quality of bone. My presentation will include a case that I treatment planned and fully documented, with chairside high-resolution videography, during the surgical phase. I was able to deliver the interim immediate load prosthesis. We were on track to complete the case and have it be completely restored with Zirconium hybrid prosthesis. Unfortunately, 2 out of 6 implants did not integrate. I will focus this presentation on problem-solving. When cases go well, everybody is happy. When problems occur, then a sound approach is needed to maintain a patient's confidence and proceed to the desired finish. This will be our focus.

Minimizing Extractions & Surgery: Today's Orthodontic Options

We will discuss case histories and treatment methods to open successful options for patients who want to eliminate the necessity of surgery and extractions. (Can the patient's experience in Orthodontics be a comfortable and pleasant experience?)

Conversation of alternatives to surgery and extraction will be discussed, as well as practical treatment planning options that produce optimum outcomes. The anatomical and physiological reasons will also be presented.
