Ethics addresses disputes about non-clinical actions (or inaction) of a member dentist and/or dental office staff of a member dentist. Complaints must be received in writing and are evaluated by a committee of member dentist volunteers.
The Ethics Committee cannot address fee disputes or other issues that cannot be clearly documented. For these kinds of issues (and if you have already tried speaking with both your dentist and your insurance company), please contact the Health Rights Hotline at 916. 551.2100.
