A strong diagnostic foundation and understanding of dental changes over time are critical to providing comprehensive care to our patients.  Early identification and management of orthodontic problems can help prevent complex dental issues in adulthood.  We will discuss how interdisciplinary care plays a crucial role in managing complex adult cases and how good coordination between providers improves treatment efficiency and enhances patient outcomes.

SPEAKER BIO

Jacklyn Kurth, DDS, MSD graduated Cum Laude from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science, and graduated at the top of her class at the University of Michigan with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. From there she attended the University of Washington to specialize in orthodontics. Dr. Kurth achieved the highest score in the nation during her orthodontic board certification and was recognized with the prestigious Earl E. and Wilma S. Shepard Award of Distinction.

After graduating, Dr. Kurth began practicing in Seattle working with some of the nationally recognized top orthodontists. Dr. Kurth then moved to the Bay Area where she decided to bring her own personal touch and fun demeanor to her own high quality orthodontic office. Dr. Kurth and her family have been very happy on the peninsula for many years.

Dr. Kurth continues to be committed to furthering the field of orthodontics and was recognized by the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics for having the most outstanding clinical article of the year by awarding her the B.F. and Helen Dewel Award.
